need to remember that no one person can fully understand a complex system.

It is becoming increasingly clear that we are facing a very different century. Human development in the 21st century is characterized by the synergy of production, services and information in ways never seen before. This century requires new forms of human work that have very little in common with the structures and working conditions established in the previous century. National and international borders are disappearing, and organizations are continuously required to operate in very diverse environments and markets. Exponentially evolving technology, the Internet, globalization, changing demographics, economic inequality, and rapidly-shrinking natural resources are among the factors that are bringing people from diverse cultures and backgrounds around the "same table" to talk about our collective future.
The key to surviving and thriving in such an environment is a collaborative lifelong learning process, which is both informational and transformational. While the demand for adult learning is increasing, there is a growing awareness that such learning is a joint responsibility of many parties involved: organizations, educational institutions, governments, unions, civil societies, and individuals. The emerging theme is that lifelong learning is everybody's business. My work focuses on creating and nurturing these lifelong learning environments and facilitating the processes for individual, team, or organizational learning. While I am based in the beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, my work encompasses all geographical areas and crosses all borders. Using a diverse combination of face-to-face and distance learning approaches, I work with clients around the world; recent examples include Canada, USA, Australia, Russia, The Netherlands, France, Israel, and Costa Rica.
