Every organization is a web of personal and business relationships, a social system. Furthermore, it is a living system, which arises out of the collective consciousness of people with shared purpose, practices, character, intention, values, and assumptions, and who hold a sense of the organizational identity and larger purpose. The organization evolves and grows, learns to adjust to its constantly changing markets and environments. How it evolves will impact and determine its effectiveness and productivity.

[Image]Therefore, the focal point for organizational evolution is its social capital. Social capital consists of the stock of active connections among people: the trust, mutual understanding, and shared values and behaviors that bind the members of human networks and communities and make cooperative action possible. Interaction enables people to build communities, to commit themselves to each other, and to knit the social fabric of the environments and organizations they belong to.

The core areas of my work and expertise are in developing the organization's human capital, both for the present and the future.

Development for the present focuses on emotional intelligence, intercultural training and development, enhancing team communication and collaboration, and leadership development.

Development for the future focuses on integrating sustainability - economic capital, social capital, environmental capital - into all operational aspects of the organization.

The optimal approach, as well as the methodologies and tools, always depends on the situation we are facing. From a short session or workshop, to a weekend retreat, to a long-term ongoing program, from face-to-face to distance learning, we focus on engaging the human capital of your organization.
